Meet Our Service Leader

I am Clare Stewart the Centre Director for Bright Blooms, St Leonards.

I have been working in the Early Childhood Sector for the past 30 years with 20+ years as a Centre Manager. I have been in Sydney for the past 20 years after training and teaching in New Zealand then travelling through Europe and North America for several years.

I am a mother to a courageous, strong, fun-loving daughter who has reminded me to find the fun and have a laugh in everyday life.

I am passionate about making sure children are nurtured, safe and included throughout their day with us. I love to use books, stories, and music, in particular singing with the guitar, as a way to include all children and find a sense of calm and fun. 

I like to ensure our team is respectful and passionate about the time they spend with children. We are on this journey together as a team with families and children encouraging curiosity and thinking outside the box with problem-solving and collaboration.

Seeing children grow up to be confident learners and with a love to explore and question the world around them is rewarding and inspiring.

I look forward to developing long term respectful relationships with all our families and community and working together alongside our team of dedicated educators to ensure all our children have a place in the world to grow into the best person they can be.
