Meet Our Service Leader

My name is Paula McPhee, and I would like to introduce myself as part of the Bright Blooms Early Learning Centre community. I was born and raised in the Philippines, where I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology before moving to Sydney to pursue my studies in Early Childhood Teaching, a decision that opened the door to a fulfilling career and a new chapter of life here in Australia. Over the past 16 years, I have been privileged to work in the early childhood education sector, beginning as an assistant educator, and progressing through roles as room leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Centre Director, and eventually a Nominated Supervisor and Centre Director. I am also a Bachelor-Qualified Early Childhood Teacher, dedicated to providing quality early childhood education for every child. I believe that the early years are a foundation for lifelong learning and within my leadership, I strive to build a supportive and collaborative team culture, where educators come together to design inspiring, quality programs that spark curiosity, wonder, and joy in learning. I am excited to begin this journey with our children, families, and educators, and I look forward to building strong, respectful partnerships with each of you as we guide your children through these important early years. I am also grateful to have worked alongside Clare, our previous Centre Director, and have been inspired by the dedication and strong community she has built here in St Leonards. Thank you for your patience and support as I continue to build our team of educators and work towards our shared goals for this beautiful service.
